COMMUNITY IMPACT
Supporting The Lacy Family
In May of 2026, The Whitman Foundation had the privilege of donating $7,500 to Brooke Lacy and her beautiful family.
Born with Poly-Phocomelia - a rare condition that caused Brooke to be born without arms and with only part of one leg - she has faced challenges most of us can't imagine with incredible strength and determination. Through it all, she has built a beautiful life centered around family, love, and showing up every day for her husband Chris and their two boys, Liam and Lincoln.
We are honored to have been able to support Brooke as she works toward securing a new accessible van - something that will help her continue showing up for her boys in all the everyday moments that matter most.
A special thank you to Abilities Center Saratoga for connecting us with Brooke and her family.
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Whitman Foundation Scholarship
In 2025, we were proud to announce the creation of The Whitman Foundation Scholarship Program. This initiative recognizes and supports graduating seniors from Saratoga Springs School District who exemplify the spirit of resilience and leadership that Jackie Whitman has demonstrated throughout her life.
The scholarship is awarded to a female student athlete who has shown exceptional dedication in athletics while balancing academics and community service — nurturing the next generation of community leaders.
In 2026, $1,500 scholarships were awarded to two deserving seniors from Saratoga Springs High School.

COMMUNITY IMPACT
Supporting Edith Ann
In 2025, a young girl named Edith Ann faced a situation similar to Jackie's story. After coming down with the flu, Edith Ann formed blood clots that cut off circulation to her extremities. She ultimately lost both hands and both legs below the knee.
Thanks to the generous contributions from the 2025 Whitman Foundation Golf Outing & Fundraiser, The Whitman Foundation was able to provide financial support to Edith Ann and her family — including a more functional vehicle and a better equipped scooter.
COMMUNITY GIVING
Saratoga Hospital Foundation
The Whitman Foundation donated $2,750 to the Saratoga Hospital Foundation in direct support of Continuing Education for Nurses at Saratoga Hospital.
